The VEA News is the official news publication of the Virginia Education Association. It is published nine times per year (monthly in print form from September through May) and is mailed to all members of the association. Subscription rate for non-members is $10 per year, which also includes a subscription to the VEA Journal of Education .

Here’s where you’ll find what the state and local associations around the state are accomplishing and how you can participate. It explains the news about state association activities in the legislature and with other power brokers and keeps you in touch with those all-important activities of local associations. Here’s where you can glean ideas for your own use. Training opportunities, explanations of what current news means for educators, answers to your legal questions – that’s what the VEA News is about.
