Would you like to share your hard-gained expertise with the teachers of tomorrow? Do you have some instructional strategies, tips, or model lessons that have worked especially well for you? If so, we’d like to hear from you.

The Student VEA (SVEA) seeks presenters for its annual Delegate Assembly, held April 11-12, 2014 in Virginia Beach. The conference brings, on average, 125 college students from around the Commonwealth together for both professional development and strategic planning for the upcoming membership year.

VEA members are encouraged to send presentation proposals on the following topics:

     • Instructional strategies that work at the high school, middle school, and/or elementary levels

     • Practical, “Stuff-I-Can-Do-on-Monday” tips and strategies

     • Meeting the diverse needs of all students: cultural, economic, language, learning, special needs

     • Community, family, and school engagement

     • Model lesson designs
