Honoring VEA members
We will be honoring our VEA members who were finalists for the Virginia Teacher of the Year along with winner of the VEA award for Teaching Excellence and NEA Foundation Finalist, Carol Bauer. Also, meet Virginia's 2017 Teacher of the Year, Dr. Toney L. McNair, Jr.

Accommodations and other details
You’ll be learning and staying at the Hilton Richmond Hotel and Spa in Short Pump. The conference begins with onsite materials pickup on Friday afternoon, Nov. 18. Opening session is Friday at 7 p.m. Sessions continue until 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19. For directions click here.

VEA members pay a $65 registration fee which covers conference registration, materials, parking, lodging for one-night (double occupancy) and Saturday’s breakfast and lunch. Non-members pay $150. SVEA members pay $50. You can request a single room for an additional $65. The commuter cost is $45 to attend.
