VEA Home
Both the VEA and NEA have programs to help fund innovative teaching practices. VEA's primary source of funds is the instructional Mini-Grants of usually up to $500, sometimes up to $1000 for a cadre concept. NEA's primary NFIE source of grants operates on a rolling schedule. Other grants are sometimes available to build small and medium-sized associations, for ESP projects, etc. Check back once in a while to see what’s current. Click on any grants below for criteria and application forms and, where we have them, sample program summaries or information on some Virginia award winners.
