Great recognition for Virginia civil rights champion Henry Marsh, who will be honored at the annual Human and Civil Rights awards dinner during the convention. So well-deserved!

Be sure to read the attached letter to convention delegates from VEA President Dr. Kitty Boitnott. It contains important information about on-site fundraising and special shirt colors you are asked to wear during the RA to show solidarity.

This memo from VEA’s Robley Jones, VEA staff liaison to the NEA RA, includes additional details you should know about. Information about housing, the reception/dinner, email access, and much more is included.

Don’t miss out on all the fun of Friendship Night, where you’ll enjoy a reception and a stellar musical performance during a live taping of NPR’s “From the Top.” Tickets are $5 if purchased before June 20 and $7.50 afterward. Details here.

If you have an interest in attending the GLBT Banquet, which kicks off with a reception at 6 pm, July 3, use this link to read more and order your tickets.
